That is my absolutely favorite session of any PDC so far. I am impressed how the async enhancements make doing async calls so much easier -finally the average dev will use async as the standard way of method invoking
I don't feel that bcooley posts was nasty or negative. It really depends on your perception of .NET 4.5. The dev team staff had probably been reduced so they had to focus on a few important enhancements that fit into the new Windows 8 strategy and had to leave out many other features on their list.
